If you are preparing to take the Cambridge C1 Advanced Exam, my C1 online lessons are designed for you. I work with students who have already passed their B2 First exam and with students studying for a Cambridge exam for the first time.

1. Why prepare for Cambridge C1 Advanced with me?
I am a native speaker from the UK and I have been teaching English and Cambridge exams for twenty years. I am also a former Cambridge C1 Advanced examiner. I offer flexible times, 7 days a week, to help you manage your studies around your daily life. My teaching style focuses on feedback, correction and improvement to help you reach the score you need.
2. Do you teach Cambridge C1 Advanced Writing?
Yes, both Parts 1 and 2, and I also offer a Writing Feedback Service to assess your writing and show you exactly what you need to improve and how. I offer the same service with Cambridge C1 Speaking.
3. Can you help me move from B2 to C1?
Yes, most students I have taught were B2 level when they began and improved to C1 level with clear teaching and feedback.
4. How long does it take to improve from B2 to C1 to be able to pass the exam?
There's no perfect answer for everybody. If you begin your studies at B2, evidence suggests that you need between 200-300 hours of study and practice to move to a high C1 level. This usually means that you will need to be ready to practise independently to build on what you do in lessons.
In our first lesson or assessment, I will complete a personal study plan for you to give you a realistic path towards the improvements you need.
